The Exhibition Contracts presents a series of new works (photography and installation) by Croatian artist Igor Eškinja. The show explores the multiple positions of an artwork between materiality and abstraction.
The word "contract" presumes some intent, a need to enter in relation with the other. It is also a promise that seeks to project relations in the future. In this exhibition, "Contract" becomes the metaphor for a constant transformation of materiality into abstraction.
